Thing 3: Google Drive

Unfortunately we cannot use Google Drive at work as we are not allowed to upload files. I have used it in the past - or Google Docs - before it was blocked and found it very useful both to share documents and to enable us to create links on our blog to these documents.

Thing 3: Wikis

Thing 2 Task 4

I am getting a little over-awed with all this choice!!  I like Twitter to browse but I think to keep up-to-date with journal TOC I would probably use RSS feeds on my homepage or Google Reader or this new JournalTOCs. I can feel that I need to be a little more organised though as I have tried setting up RSS feeds, followed journals on Twitter and on JournalTOCs. I suppose over time you get to know which you prefer. Phew - that's enough of 12 things for now!

Thing 2 Twitter

I was already using Twitter so had set up my account already. Now following 12thingseoe and a few of the suggested people. I quite like Twitter - I have quite a mix of people that I follow. I use Twitter a lot more now I have an iPod so I can just browse tweets while having a cup of coffee!

Task 2: RSS Feeds

Pretty straight forward - I have used RSS feeds before which helped. What is most annoying is that a lot of these things appear not to work properly at work so I am finding it easier to do it at home!

My First Post

This is very exciting I have started my 12 Things before Christmas and have created a blog. I have created blogs before so this is not new to me but I am very much looking forward to some of the other topics on the course. Good luck to everyone participating! Sorry I cannot put an image on this post as I cannot see the icon on the toolbar - could this be blogged at work? Has anyone else got this problem?
